Local Kroger Stores Continue to Support Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland

Robert Boone (right) , manager of the Towne Mall Kroger in Elizabethtown, recently presented a donation to Gary Miles, Executive Director of Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland on behalf of the Krogers located in the nonprofits service area.  Each year Krogers across the country collect funds through their “Bringing Hope to the Table” campaign to support Feeding America food banks in their area.  This year FAKH received almost $13,500 to support their various programs that provide assistance those who struggle with hunger in the 42 Kentucky counties they serve.    In addition to this annual donation, Kroger also provides food to FAKH through their Retail Store Pick-Up Program.
