August 7, 2017 – Lori Masing has often witnessed people in her own community struggling to find food to support themselves and their families. That is why a little over three years ago she began working for Trinity Baptist Church in Paducah, KY.
As Food Director, Lori is responsible for ordering items for their food pantry and making sure it is distributed to those in need. Each month they provide food to as many as 50 families in McCracken County. But Lori’s duties go well beyond order sheets and pick-up lines.
She also gets to know the clients they serve and tries to help them in any way that she can. “I enjoy talking and kidding around with the individuals,” says Lori.
Thanks to staff members like Lori, the assistance provided by at Trinity Baptist Church is not only giving people in the Paducah area a stable source of food, but it also gives them someone they can depend on – a friend if they need one.
