During the holiday season, helping those in need is a top priority for many people, even more than usual. But for Earl Rodgers, that desire is something that motivates him all year round.
Earl, a native of Campbellsville, KY, is the Chairman of the Taylor County Ministerial Association (TCMA). TCMA is one of the six partner agencies we work with to provide assistance to those in the Campbellsville area. For the past 8 years, Earl has been volunteering at the food pantry where he is able to help “give people a hand up and meet their needs.”
Each month the TCMA Food Pantry serves roughly 300 local households. But they provides more than just food for their table, they also provide hope for the future. When asked what was most rewarding about his work at the pantry, Earl said “It is a joy to care for the widows, orphans, and sojourners in our community.”
