FAKH Endowment Fund

As a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland depends on the support we receive from cost sharing, grants, and donations from individuals and businesses to cover the costs associated with the hunger relief programs we provide. In thinking about the future, we want to make sure these programs continue to help those in our region for years to come.

For that reason, in 2016, we decided to partner with the Central Kentucky Community Foundation to set up an endowment fund.  This fund will provide sustainable and reliable funding, and ensure Kentuckians throughout our service area continue receiving the assistance they need well into the future.

As part of our long-term development plan, we are committed to growing our endowment fund. However we can’t do it without our generous supporters. In addition to putting food on someone’s table, these gifts may be eligible for the Endow Kentucky state income tax credit which offers donors up to a 20 percent credit for their contribution.  Contact us today at info@feedamerica.com to see how your gift can make a difference for those served by FAKH for years to come.
