February 8, 2017 – Concerned Citizens of Logan County is just one of our partner agencies in the Russellville area that works to distribute food to their community. Each month their food pantry provides assistance to over 500 people who are struggling to meet one of life’s basic necessities.
Russellville native Dorris Vick, Director, has been involved with the local agency for 26 years. When asked what inspired her to get involved and what she enjoys most about her role she responded, “I have always had a big heart to help anyone I can. I find it rewarding to be able to minister and meet people in the community.”
Concerned Citizens of Logan County provides more than just food assistance to those in their area. The agency also offers after-school tutoring and a free clothing ministry. All of these services help “make life easier for those having a hard time,” says Vick.
