Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland works with corporate and business supporters in many different ways to end hunger in our region.
Fund the Fight Against Hunger
By making a financial gift to FAKH you fund our mission of feeding our food insecure neighbors in Kentucky’s Heartland. There are many ways to fund the fight against hunger, like
We carefully steward each gift we receive to maximize the impact of our work. In fact, $0.97 of every dollar donated goes directly to purchasing food and programs fighting hunger.

Give the Gift of Time
Many corporations and businesses make a difference by volunteering with FAKH. Your gift of time can provide the helping hands needed to pack food items in our warehouse which end up being distributed throughout our service area.

Help Us Rescue Food for Our Neighbors
We work with manufacturers, distributors, retailers and growers to rescue food all across our region. Food loss can occur at every stage of the food production process but through donating surplus or unmarketable products, you are able to provide millions of pounds of edible food to our neighbors facing hunger.
The types of resources donated vary but include perishable products such as fresh produce and bakery goods, as well as non-perishable food and grocery items.
