The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Outreach Specialist supports FAKH’s mission, vision, and values while providing face-to-face assistance with electronic and/or paper SNAP benefits applications to low-income neighbors at a variety of convenient locations. Provides leadership and support to FAKH team members by maintaining an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of policy issues related to SNAP. The Marketing & Communications Manager (MCM) is responsible for planning and leading the
Food Bank’s marketing and communications strategies to build awareness about the
organization’s mission, service, needs and successes, and to position the organization as the
leading hunger-relief agency in our region.
The MCM reports to and advises the Director of Development on these matters and works
closely with the Executive Director as well.
The fundamental role of Marketing & Communications (MarCom) at Feeding America,
Kentucky’s Heartland is to educate, inspire, engage, recruit, and retain supporters, partners,
and advocates for our mission. We do this through a variety of strategies and tactics to reach
the broadest audience possible, while closely collaborating with colleagues who are
personalizing relationships with these audiences.
