We are excited to present our new FAKH mission, vision and core values of our three-year strategic plan implemented in January 2023. The strategic plan reflects the collaborative work of the FAKH management team and board committee members led by consultant Dr. Darryl Armstrong. The process, which took over two years with pauses due to the pandemic and tornado disaster, was guided by stakeholders’ interviews – like yourself – and an online survey.

Our visual roadmap provides a visualization of FAKH’s long-term vision, mission, values and goals. Each department, as well as our entire organization, set strategic initiatives and goals which help us to accomplish our mission.

Plan Implementation Updates
Every quarter, our staff presents updates on how the implementation of each initiative of our Strategic Plan is going. Soon we will be providing transparent updates to you about parts of the plan that have worked well, parts that haven’t, and what work we still have to do. We believe our strategic plan can lead to even greater success of FAKH’s mission and vision, and we hope that you will come along with us as we grow to meet the needs of our neighbors facing hunger in Kentucky’s Heartland.
