April is for Action
Spring into Action and join us for our next volunteer event on April 19, 2025! Come to the Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland Volunteer Center, where we’ll work together to pack food resources for seniors and children in our community.
What to Expect:
- Sweet Treats: Savor some delicious treats while packing boxes of nourishing food for those in need.
- Community Spirit: Bring your friends, family, or colleagues – together, we can make a real impact.
Admission is free, but we encourage a $5 donation per person to help support this important cause. Let’s make a difference together!
Volunteer Center Rules
- Closed-toed shoes are required of all volunteers for your safety.
- For the safety of our volunteers and staff, we require volunteers with special needs to be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
- Children ages 7+ are able to attend with a parent, guardian or group chaperone.
- We require at least one adult/guardian/chaperone per every 5 children between the ages of 7-11, for children ages 11+ we require one adult/guardian/chaperone per every 10 children.
